A mild toughie in my stupid quest to tackle a back run of this front. What’s most notable here is that I bought this Yepbg; he had it listed at a silly number, I offered him 75% of his ask, which was still a strong but more reasonable price, and he accepted without counter. I guess satisfactory deals with Yepbg can be done, which is nice to know bc he has done solid cards

Awesome pick up. A back run of that front seems like it could get expensive. LOL

Edit: I meant no offense. I just saw in another thread you are also interested in a T206 Wagner.

Those E106's are certainly not easy. I picked up a Chase portrait to go along with the fielding version that I already had. Now if only I could find both Chase versions of the D303............

That’s a pretty card Dave, congrats. You get it in Sterling? If so, I think you did very well (for what it’s worth).

This was an antique store find this weekend. It's the first tobacco card I've picked up in years (and first T205 ever) as I've been focused on completing some post-war sets. While not a rare back (SC factory 42) I'm glad it's a HOFer. It was the only card the dealer had and the price was right. I'll be checking in there more frequently now.

Extremely excited to pick these up in the same week, both for completion of their respective sets. Took me 3 years of aggressive searching (thanks to all who tolerated my BST pleas) to find a Teddy with the centering I was looking for....what a beast.

Thanks to RMY for a great photo of Mr. Spahn and thanks to Don for the Matty - I don't usually go for authentic cards but this one spoke to me. A Bresnahan printer's scrap that appears to be missing some shade of the red.

Joe M, I like the P2 Phillippe, very nice!

Picked up this 1899 Worcester Gazette paper supplement with photo of the team. Has a couple of MLBers in it, such as Bransfield and Viau. Examples of their cards are below (I no longer own the Viau).

Incredible card.

If you're careful, you can take a drill bit, put a hole through the case where the hole in the card already exists, and put it on your keys/keychain!
