I got the same ones. Alvarez seems pretty amazing, Wilson Alvarez was the first player to debut who was younger than you. He was born on 3/24/1970 and he made his debut on 7/24/1989, so he was 19! Learn more about him at Retrosheet. That makes me doubt the accuracy, for me there's almost a 7 year difference between us, I can't imagine that nobody born somewhere in between started in the majors between 1982 and 89 |

They use Minoso too on the old end which is essentially meaningless as his very late appearances were just publicity stunts.

He did get a hit in his 1976 try, which is far better than I'd manage. Yes, batted in a cage that had ML speed, managed one foul tip that barely touched the bat in 40 pitches. Not much chance of hitting live pitching.... |

First player younger than you: Ed Correa was the first player to debut who was younger than you. He was born on 4/29/1966 and he made his debut on 9/18/1985, so he was 19!
Last player older than you: Jamie Moyer was the last player older than you to play in the majors. He was born on 11/18/1962 and last played on 5/27/2012, so he was 49. Sorry, pal, it's not gonna happen for you.

No, they are my own, but questions of this nature need to specify which wife or which grandson going forward.
