Default 1914 Cracker Jack Schmidt Print Issue

I recently picked up a copy of this card, a nice PSA 1. I noticed it has a small mark that sort of “extends” the bottom of the second “L” in “BALL (PLAYERS)”. I didn’t think much of it, but then saw the same mark on the one in HA’s January ‘14 CJ Setbreak catalog. I then Googled and found at least one more with this same mark. Anyone else have one fitting this description?

Checked mine and don't have any like that. Can you post an example?

(I assume you are not referring to the quotation marks two lines down.)

I'm referring to the front of the card, not the back. I have no luck posting pics for some reason. Here is a link to one that was in HA (not my card): https://sports.ha.com/itm/baseball-c...a/7150-10909.s

A pic/scan of your card would be helpful to compare

I've checked both my Schmidt's and neither one has any mark extending by BALL

Of the 40 graded Schmidt's (BVG/PSA/SGC) I can confirm there are 8 others that have the mark extending by BALL
SGC 6.5
PSA 6
SGC 5.5
PSA 5
BVG 3.5
PSA 3
PSA 3
PSA 3

13 I can confirm that do not have the mark including my 2
5 I don't have much info on
The remaining 13 I will have to do some more digging

Hope this helps
