I like to sit outside, drink beer and yell at people. If I did this at home, I would be arrested. So, I go to baseball games and fit right in.

I recently sold a T206 Rhoades SGC 84. I think I am happy to have this card instead of the Rhoades and have a few dollars in my pocket:

A hybrid V100 I guess, not really sure. It looks like a trimmed down V100 with a typed front and back with a type writer. I think it's weird that it says 1924 series on the back though, whoever did this must have made a series of them for himself ? Not sure

It's been a good month! Got the E90-1's for the O'Leary, but who can part with an Oakes once you've seen one?? (From Robert A in ebay xaction - awesome guy!)

The E102 is another type checked off the list, and a great-looking card too. The Herp's I've been waiting a long time to buy. My mom used to take us there to get our fall school clothes when we were kids. Thanks leon, moderator dude, dog, and great guy too. From luckeycards.com (hee - will the inclusion of web site URL get this post cancelled?)

Joann

Not sure if this is a printing error or what, but it looked odd, so I bought it.

Can't be absolutely certain, but it looks like that card was glued to something originally, and the glue leached the color out of the card. Quite common, not a print defect. Is there corresponding paper loss?

I won these along with about 12 other N28s and N43s at an estate auction in North Carolina this weekend. The owner of the place threw them down on the table in 7 different plastic baggies I was unfourtanly outbid on a few of the biggies (ex N43 Ewing and N28 Kelly in ex) but managed some nice cards still.

Hey Zach, do you mind telling us how much you paid for them? If not, were they close to ebay prices or did you get them for much less?

The seller of this card wrapped it in plastic wrap & mailed it in an audio cassette case! Amazingly, it was not damaged.

I thought all the Herpolsheimer's had pencil writing on the back.

It did have writing on it but is erased. I have owned about 10 of those and they all had writing on them. I believe all that were found did have writing on the backs at one time or another. If you see one that doesn't have writing then it got erased.....regards
