I've often wondered if middle men exist in the hobby. Would people hire you to hunt down cards on their want list for them? What kind of fees did you take as a middleman?

I only have a few odd T206s. Here's one handcut but looks like the complete print. Either that or it's the worst trim job ever.

I wonder if that's a case of Dad bringing home a sheet of cards and giving it to Junior, along with a pair of cheap scissors?

Just for Johnny V because he talked about these cards today with me at my work. This scan is upside down, it is four cards, three of them came from one old collection, the older looking one was just a lucky buy that had no back scan

Thanks V and thanks for reading the articles, I need all the page views I can get so I can stop working a real job and just write

The cards will be yours someday I'm sure. I told you though, I won't sell them for less than $50 each unless you buy all four at once, then it is $175 with free in person delivery

Don't do it - he would just tape them together.

How are you doing on your second T206 set?

Well in early 2005 I had about 130 cards towards my 2nd set and as of this morning, since I just checked the mail but didn't get anything, I am still around 130 towards that 2nd set. I was just looking for some upgrades but I can't find my list of cards I wanted to upgrade so I haven't bought anything.

He won't be able to tape the cards together so don't worry, I put them in a plastic mold so they are impossible to get to without destroying the cards in the process

It's been a while since we last talked. How are the BB cards shows in the Toms River - Brick Town area ?

I'm curious.....what players are pictured on the front of your 4-card (or 6-card) panel ?

Best regards,

Someone with better skillz is taking this project - I'll be putting my scans on my server, and he'll take it from there. I'm REAL busy scanning cards right now to sell before Christmas, so little time for anything else....other than starting trouble here.

Here are the fronts.

I havent seen the Bricktown show listed for about 2 years now, unless I totally missed it I'd say they stopped it. I work about a mile from where they hold it and they usually advertise it weeks in advance and I believe the last one I went to was 2009

Chris

There are other T206s out there with 2 different names. My count at the moment is 21 different T206s. 6 of those 21 are in your post

As far as side by side miscuts that show 2 different players. I was aware of 6 until this thread. Your Murray and the Stephens posted earlier are new ones to me.

Any chance that you could post the back info on the Murray (back brand-series-factory number)?

I do have scans & back info for most of these T206s, but unfortunately due to PC problems, I don't have access to the scans at the moment. Some of the info is available though and I will pass it along to you if you like.

I had this one at one time. Sold it to someone here (can't recall who).

Chase with Zimmerman on top.

I was the one who purchased the Chase-Zimmermann... and I also found this Bradley-Bender on eBay recently which was just described as "partial name on top"

Default Nice work Chris

Excellent work; I don't know for sure, but it might be possible to determine the multi-pose subjects on "top" based on the the back + series.

For example, the Bradley-Bender is a P150 and based on the "Consolidated Lists" thread, only the Bender Portrait is in P150.

If it can be confirmed which pose that would be great, I have very little back info on these.

Chris - The one's you are missing that can be definitively determined are:

Bender (Portrait)
Jordan (Portrait)
Chance (Portait-red)
Bresnahan (Portrait)

Myers could be the Batting or Fielding pose.

Couldn't the Jordan on the Jennings card also be the batting version? It's a series 350 card also...

No Tom, it couldn't. The Jordan (Portrait) and Jennings (Portrait) were both printed during the production of print group 1 of the T206 set. Jordan (Batting) was printed during the production of print group 3, long after print group 1 was discontinued.

Yes, all can be found with 350 Series backs, but they were not printed at the same time, so it would be impossible for the Jordan (Batting) pose to be on the same sheet as the Jennings (Portrait.)
