Guys,

Is Norris his first name or his last name? Is there anything more known about this guy? Mystery collectors, another interesting part about our hobby.

Peter C.

You can see his last name in a post above. Jay's statements are tongue in cheek. True, Norris has had some nice items (quite a few nice ones have been listed on ebay at pretty high prices).....just not everything he has said he does, imo. As far as folks flying under the radar....I still firmly believe there are a ton of collectors and collections under the radar....As time goes by we will see more awesome stuff come out....

Many years ago I attempted to collect the N300 Mayo set. Got half way there but sold out to Norris.

Likewise with Ramlys. He purchased at least 50 from me.

Same with T206 Uzit and Lenox. He beat me out of those too.

His 10 cent listings are pretty impressive.

I don't personally collect this material anymore so my dealings with him have been limited for many years. Maybe Jay has dealt with him more recently.

i have a feeling that it might be the same guy who called himself George a while back and then got mad and left the group. also have been hearing a lot of rumors in the last few years about a collection in the midwest that is larger than Jefferson Burdick's. that would be mind boggling!
