Default 1941 play ball - diminished demand?

Posted By: Ed

Has demand for these cards diminished in recent years? (Except for the obvious - Ted)

Hi, personally I think the set is very popular with collectors. Last of the major Gum sets issued prior to WW2 and the set is loaded with HOFer's. Lets see:
Ted Williams
Joe DiMaggio
Pee Wee Reese (Rookie)
Hank Greenberg
Mel Ott
Bill Dickey
Charlie Gehginger
Lefty Gomez
Carl Hubbell
Joe Cronin
Chuck Klein
Did I miss anyone? Great set and I think a popular one. Cards are great looking also. I love the Williams card.

Personally, I like the '41's, but as for as the '40's I believe demand is weak.
