Default Collect.Com Auction is live

The Dec. 3 auction from www.collect.com/auctions has been live for a few days. The guys at headquarters tell me the early action is on the low-grade superstars . . . just as it has been in past sales.

My "insider" tip is to look hard at the cards wearing SCD Authentic plastic. These are the legitimate slabs with the red label from SCD's short-lived TPG days. Some savvy collectors have found these to be great candidates for crack-outs.

Just to be clear, I carry a "Consignment Director" title with Collect.Com.

Good luck with the auction. From the reviews I've heard, the original SCD grading was good. In fact, I've heard some collectors on this board say that SCD graders were tougher graders than other companies.

Just got the catalog-nice mix of stuff plus some old Topps vending boxes to spice things up.
