Default 1935 Yankees Opening Day Pic

Thought I would share this fun picture of the Opening Day in 1935 for the New York Yankees.
These pics aren't great, but the guys in it include:
Al Schact-Clown Prince of Baseball, Boro-Pres. Lyons, Mayor La Guardia, and Jacob Ruppert-Owner.
Picture is original!
Enjoy!

further research says the pic is probably from 1935 not 1921. John Lyons was the bronx borough president starting in 1934, LaGuardia was mayor of New York from 1934 to 1942, and Jacob Ruppert died in 1939. By this time Schact was well established as a coach and baseball comedian in New York. In 1921, Schact was a young pitcher for the Washington Senators. Interesting when you do a little digging and research some facts. I was told originally that the pick was from opening day 1921 but that definitely was not true.
