Default T206 printer's marks question

Are T206 printer's marks on the front of the card always black? If not, what other colors are known?

I would guess they are registration marks used to line up the colors, so any color in the card is possible. This mark is blue from Waddell Portrait.

I once owned a Proof that had 6 different colors iN each of the X ~ Y Axis's Cross~hairs... 10 years ago, He was the Only None Southern Leaguer Proof to exist... I do believe it's still true!

He's resided iN a Private Collection ever since I "Accidently" Sold'em
