Default Beware

All
My name is Rick Lyons and I won and paid for the two card Venezuelan auction from Jason Carter "maddux31". I haven't received the cards nor can I get any communication from him. It's only $8 but it's been a month so I thought everyone should know. Not sure why but if I was going to scam the board I wouldn't be doing it for $8. There could be a valid reason but after a month it was time to move this forward. Rick

Yes, and that member is banned from the BST and hasn't posted in a month.

There must be an explanation. There isn't enough money at stake, as was pointed out, to rip someone off here.

$8 is more to some than others or maybe they just would not part with the cards for the winning bid.

I think it's this but, if that's the case, he could at least refund the buyer.

He's obviously logging in, so he has to be aware of this. I'm not sure why he's only banned from the BST and not the entire forum? He ripped someone off, even if it was only for $8.

Sort of waiting to see if there is any response before the all inclusive ban....That is why.

He won't be anymore. He just got the boot. I see no reason to keep someone around that obviously has an outstanding issue and won't address it.

$8 bucks used to go a long way in the arcade. My dad would give me that fat ass stack of quarters and I'd run around sounding like a janitor. I could see why he did what he did. He's probably playing Ninja Turtles as we speak (that was my favorite).

Strange. Looks like he was the winning bidder with Octavio on an $80 item. Wonder if that transaction went through.

Absolutely agree. Gone. It's just bizarre to me that not only did he fail to deliver on an $8 item but he purchased something for $80 with no issue.

I dont know him personally (met in person), but we had dealings years ago from my days on the PSA board. He was a straight shooter to me, and I find this odd, that he reneged on a $5 auction. The ironic thing ism, if sold on Ebay, not sure they would have brought more than that. Those cards were pretty piss poor....

Hey, it will still get me well fed at Burger King...so, it is important...or, so say my taste buds.

Ive seen many deals fall through over $8.00 or less. I offer $145 for the card and want shipping...selller says no....no deal sometimes because of that for example..

Should be a new thread of what we would do with another 8 bucks...or when 8 bucks means a difference.

sometimes the difference of 5x versus regular ebay bucks is $8.00 and its only because of those 5x ebucks a deal is made...again...$8.00

I eat Burger King because it's cheap, but that is some nasty fast food. They USED to be decent too. Without coupons, the prices they charge are obscene.

They are stupid. Most people don't understand the importance of good credit until they ruin theirs.

To each his own. YUMMY! YUMMY!

I live within a block of Burger King and usually Down Wind too!

I've always said that if that made that smell a perfume, I'd still be dating.

I usually don't use PayPal ff with people I don't know but for an 8 dollar transaction I probably would have. Glad to hear this had a happy resolution, even if quite a bit late. What a moron though. Ruined his reputation on this board and in this hobby for 8 bucks.
