1250 for the 52 Topps Mantle sounds like a steal. I'll take it if the card is intact and you'll guarantee authenticity

The seller is pissed and keeps writing me to tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about and to quit slandering him. Lol!!! I’ve asked him to post pics of all of his cards so that the entire board can be the judge of that but I wouldn’t expect anything from this con artist

Even when it's not a reprint the 52 Topps is still not a rookie card. Also this is the wrong site to try to scam people.

PS his email doesn't work as posted in this thread. He has Reggie, Bench and Ryan RC's in another thread and I asked for scans, never got them.

Ill take the Mantle. Do you accept wire transfer across sea with hopes for a return money order for any mishaps with the transaction? Thanks

I’ll take it if you have provenance. Something like purchasing the card for $2 from a Nevada card shop. Extra Monopoly money if you can get it authenticated by a historian.

A Topps #311 1952 Rookie Card for $1250......REALLY. I don't think you need to insult anyone on this site by even posting this. You need to do your homework. If this card was real...which it is not... it would be worth at least10 times that not to mention people on this site mostly have a clue if they have been here for any amount of time.

LOL, interesting thread.

On another note, anybody wanna go halfsies with me on the Shroud of Turin in the upcoming Coach's Corner auction, signed by 10 of the 12 Apostles present at The Last Supper?

They say that it should sell somewhere into the 10's of hundreds.

of a movie scene where a couple of would be robbers try to rob a "police" bar. Needless to say it didn't turn out well for them!

He's pretty sure that they're real but since they aren't authenticated he's listing as reprints per Net54 rules

Guys- the dude is banned. Probably not worth responding to this post any longer- unless you wish to continue mocking the obvious fakes- which is totally fine!
