SOLD HOF Henry Aaron Day ticket stub and Booster Club Membership card 8/6/73 @ milw
For sale:
One (1) Henry Aaron Booster Club Membership Card (MT) and 8/6/73 Brewers ticket stub (VGEX). Note: The attached wire photo IS NOT included, but merely to add historical context.
In 1973 HOF Hank Aaron (the non-PED HR King) was in hot pursuit of Babe Ruth's career HR record.
Hammerin' Hank spent a good portion of his career in Milwaukee before the franchise moved to Atlanta in 1966.
By proclamation of the WI Governor, Patrick Lucey, August 6th, 1973 was designated as Henry Aaron Day at Milwaukee County Stadium to honor their favored son.
The Atlanta Braves played their final exhibition game on 8/6/73 and Hank Aaron did not disappoint and homered in the game, much to the delight of the Milwaukee fans.
A really cool piece of baseball history. SOLD delivered for the 1st person that e-mails me or sends me a PM.
Thanks for your interest.
