I note: new account, zero feedback, and no returns accepted. Yet three bids already. Something like that I wouldn't have touched with a ten foot pole. Are people foolish, or just naive?

With a "guaranteen" how can you go wrong? I can see it now --"No your Honor I didn't offer him a guarantee I offered him a 'guaranteen' which I am still happy to honor."

I have a 12 yr old little girl we can throw into the mix too. She is starting to have an attitude. I haven't spanked her in about 8 yrs but keep threatening. I believe a spank on the behind (not to hurt but to get attention) is what kids are not getting enough of today...but I digress...

Leon, your 12 year old daughter sounds like my 12 year old daughter, you have my sympathies.... happy.gif. Agree on the other part too; discipline is sometimes needed.

ROFL... Where's Jack when you need him? And to keep this on topic, shall I mention Wendy with the baseball bat?

Listing gone. But his other listings are still there. Why doesn't Ebay kick them off for good? And charge their credit card account $500 for terms violation for good measure!

This line always seems to tell me to move on. 99.99% of the time, this is bad news.

That would be a nice bunch of Hindu cards to have, though...

As for grouchy teenagers, 17 yr old twin daughters here. Their parents are idiots. School is boring and a waste of time. They lack the ability to move a dirty dish to the kitchen, much less the dishwasher.

But there is hope. I do honestly believe that they will eventually learn to turn off lights. That day will come when they have a light bill in their name.

I agree with Leon's perception for getting attention, but I think too few parents do. Not when you're angry, but with calm, reflective, good intentions... pop! Too late now for me. They'll be 18 in 6 weeks.

And I've come to think about college tuition as the alternative to keeping them underfoot. No brainer!!!

You have my sympathies irt college tuition. My 17 yo is just starting to go through the "OMG where am I gonna go to school?!" process, and I'm just thrilled that all the loans and grants are drying up because the economy sucks. sad.gif

Since this thread has already veered faaar OT...

My daughter was thrilled when she found her mom and I weren't pushing her to go on right out of high school. She took a year off, had a job within a month of graduating, and found out that the company she's working for would be very happy to provide tuition assistance. After a full year away she was more than ready to get back to the books, and now she's taking a couple classes each semester in addition to continuing full-time work, and she's a much better student for it.

There's always a way.

Bill

He is selling a Magic Johnson signed ball...looks like he stole the scan and wording also. The COA is sooooo funny.

Mark,

You're correct! That is a great COA. I wish I had a handful! (Oh wait! I can just print some off.)

read your initial posts here yesterday and saw what you were talking about. emailed him about the cards yesterday and gave the link. gone today. emailed him about the magic johnson ball and the bad coa, also showed him the link on steiner sports that had the same ball picture. he removed it about 5 minutes later. i then told him i was searching all his other jordan stuff, found the link to all the photos he used in his auctions and now they are all gone. he is emailing me through ebay system saying he got a buyer for the hindu cards and that he is getting a court order to stop me for harrassing him. it all took about 45 minutes to scare the crap out of him and get him to end all his auctions. we went back and forth with about 20 messages through the ebay system. i'll continue to watch him. he kept saying he wanted my number to call and explain. it was all quite funny. its all good now. everything he was trying to sell he shut down after i found every single image he stole, thanks to the good start from the first poster.

here is the link to one of the auctions i got him to end

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260349096041

Yeah I was emailing and messing with him too, and then he appologized. Then he sent me an email off of one of my ebay auctions saying to be nice to him, he may want to win some of my auctions....

What a joke if this guy bids on any of my auctions I will cancel his bids!!

This is what I love about Net54 we have a community of advanced collectors that can make help make sure none of us get ripped off!!!

I also would like to thank Eric Angyal for showing this site to me!!

Doncha think someone like that would bid on a couple of items, pay for them, wait for at least 2 or 3 feedback before selling stuff?

Oh right, he's an idiot, I forgot. wink.gif
