I have a presentable lower-grade 1910 T212 Obak for sale (175 Subjects).

The price is $1750 delivered (This price is a joke. I would need $1750 to take a plane and deliver the card personally to you.) or if you prefer that I mail it, the price is $22.00.

The price of the card is $22 delivered by the postman.

No intention to improperly interfere so take this as a free bump.

1. This is a 1910, not 1911; and

2. $1750 delivered seems steep. Presume that includes airfare to get it here and lodging.

Although the seller has the right to name their price, I'm curious as to why this is being offered for 50x+ the normal asking price?

Guys, I think this is just a typo. I've worked with Cy several times before and I know he's a good guy to have on the board. I think what he meant to say is that if you pick the card up, the price is $17.50 (NOTE: missing decimal point above) however if you want the card shipped to you the price is $22.

Hope that clears it up and Cy can certainly correct me if I'm guessing wrong here.

Could be wrong, but I read this as just a joke. $1750 delivered, meaning he'd bring it to your doorstep personally, but if you were satisfied with just having it mailed to you, then $22 would be enough.

Hello,

This is my try at making a joke. My thought was that the price would be $1750 if I deliver the card personally to you. You know, where I take a plane and hand it to you personally. I guess it's not good business to try to make humor when trying to sell a card.

People of the Net 54 board, the price of the card is:

$22

and that includes delivery. I will hand it off to the Postman rather than do the delivery myself.
