Default ADDITION: 1973 Topps Baseball Complete Set plus nice Partial ‘73 OPC Set (536/660)

Pictures of the ‘73 OPC partial set (approx 82% complete) are in the comment section. VgEx with many better…I only saw a couple of clunkers. The stars tend to be nicer on average. Even the ones that are typical oc are sharp. Great start to a tough set. In pages, with stars in card savers as shown. You don’t often see high sets together…thought someone might want to tackle the “parallels”

The regular Topps set is a really strong set in ultra pro pagers and binder. Crisp and clean.

When I started building it, I bought a set that was 37% nrMtmMt, 54% ex/exMt, 9% vgEx. I have aggressively upgraded a large portion of the commons and all of the main stars, HoFers and RCs.

I believe the set is now 78% nrMtMt, 21% ex+ExMt and 1% vgEx. The 1% is mostly driven by card 660 which is absolutely terrible (I have no idea how I missed it) and the cepeda has a couple of hairline wrinkles.

The only issues that I see even in the lesser grades cards are factory issues…some centering and stray print marks. Any corner wear is modest and I really try to have a no crease policy. So the cards that are “technically” lower grade feel better than that. Backs are clean.

If anything the stars are a slight notch better than the commons. The Schmidt is very nice, as are the Ryan and Mays, etc. There are a bunch of highlights here and are likely candidates for grading if you are into that.

Asking $2375 shipped/obo for both the complete ‘73 topps and near ‘73 OPC set.

Thanks for looking…please reach out with questions

Tough to find high grade raw sets from the early 70s. GLWS

Bump for the addition of a near-complete ‘73 o-pee-Chee set to the package…and a reduced overall price.
