Sorry Cliff, but Phil is correct on this. That card was released to the public in 1978. MSA wasn't nearly as quick on the printing and distribution as Topps or others, not were they as worried about anomalies like team designations.. Remember that this set was a special one due to it's size and not a standard MSA disc. As a result it took longer to print them, then ship to Wiffle, then inserted into individual boxes, shipped out, then arriving in stores.

The die-cut discs were released in 1978. No doubt about it.
