Dear Terry - Joe T. here & I wanted to express my deepest condolences for your dad’s passing. I true hobby icon, I can still remember seeing a stack of W600 cabinets in their original glassine envelopes & T3 proofs in his Fort Washington PA. showcase. I can certainly attribute a significant portion of my cardboard passion to the many conversations I had with your father, for he always had the faith of a child when discussing the hobby. He truly transcended the art of collecting and his legacy will live on forever. I’m going to steal a quote from the great Johnny Bench who uttered these eloquent words in reference to the passing of the immortal Tom Seaver - for they surely justify why your dad was loved by so many: “For those who knew him, no words are necessary….for those who didn’t, no words could ever be adequate!”
