Agreed but from reading the FB response posts, he appears to be a "regular" at Oklahoma shows so if you see him, get him shadowed for he'll keep doing that until caught and prosecuted

Face and features are clear enough that I can't see this not being a fairly quick solve.

After all the big thefts that have occurred at shows recently, why leave a box of cards on a table your not watching yourself?

I'm surprised at how empty the show was when this happened. All the shows I've been to recently have been packed.

It makes no sense, at the beginning of the clip on the left side you can see someone inside the booth looking right in that direction.

The bright side is that there will be less wealth to show up on the pickups thread, so less people will be upset.

Trying to find a bald pate in this hobby is like trying to find a sale on Black Friday. Hopefully he has some other distinguishing characteristics...

I had recently been kicking around the idea of setting up at a show. Given the frequency with which theft occurs these days, it's just not worth it to me.

Same here. Would like to set up but dang. I had even thought about photocopying my “high value “ cards and only agreeing to an in person meeting to exchange, but not sure that would be practical.

Well...

Just a thought...

Before you photocopy your cards you might think about not setting a box full of t205 and t206 cards on your table and then turning around and walking away.

Not blaming anybody...

Maybe just a little...

If the cases are locked & chained to the table, you should be OK if you left the table for a few minutes during setup. But, don't leave anything on top of the cases.

Glad to hear the perps were apprehended, and the stolen goods were returned to their owner.

Hopefully there's a stiff penalty for such crimes against cardboard.

Note how casual he is...the way he looks, walks, how he is dressed....strolls up so casual to the point where one could think the box belongs to him.

I think it was Goethe who said, "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he wasn't a bald and pudgy senior citizen in casual wear."
