I am working on sussing out all packaging options for 1994 Topps.
These cases are a mystery. They clearly held SOME 1994 Topps product. The code "981" should correspond to a similar 3-digit code appearing in the commodity code for some pack type - i.e. 0-981-XX-01-4 for series 1, 0-981-XX-02-4 for series 2. The only pack types I have been able to determine, along with their 3-digit code sections, are: 'Wax' 12-card - 362 15-card hanger - 346 29-card hanger - 358 56 card jumbos - 645 Rack - 381 6-card with gum - 334 Any ideas what was shipped in these cases??
