No doubt Cincinnati's best Pitcher during the Big Red Machine era. He was simply terrific, especially in clutch situations.
RIP Mr. Gullett.

One of the my favorite Reds.
I remember hearing about how he scored 72 points in a high school football game. He scored 11 TDs and kicked 6 extra points, wild. RIP Mr. Gullett |

Yes, he was the ace for those great Reds teams. RIP, Don.

He was very good but very injury-prone. Played his last MLB game at age 27, which is most players' peak.

Wow don't really know too much about him but pretty impressive he pitched a full season at just 19.

Now that I am closing in on 60, 73 doesn't seem that old anymore. RIP.
