Default Heritage Memorabilia

Anyone pick up anything nice? I hated bowing out on the 1907 Tigers cabinet - what a beautiful team photo!

Happy to pick this up - looks like an early baseball cabinet of a California team. Kind of unusual:

Default Cobb

I could not resist...too dynamic, large and early to pass up. It is gorgeous and showcases Cobb's grit and intensity imo. Look at him attack/destroy that dirt and base! ha!

Default Nice p/u's fellas

As for me about 2 weeks ago I had $26,000 in placed leading/winning bids, about $24/25K more than I could afford, but figured I hang on to win one.

Got nothing tonight.

Still in play for 2 tomorrow night

Scott, great photo. Reminds me of the California Milk Producers commercial on TV, "Happy Cows come from California". Happy baseball players too! Great bib front jerseys. Ben the Cobb photo is awesome

Greg, I don't mean to be a bubble burster at all, and this one that ended yesterday

http://www.ebay.com/itm/193-lou-gehr...p2047675.l2557

is not in the one you gots league, obviously 'cuz of the missing box, but I too had not seen another one of these and then 2 end 2 days apart, crazy.

SORRY LATE ADDITION - I READ, OR RATHER I MIS-READ YOUR ORIGINAL POST. I AT FIRST THOUGHT YOU WROTE THE ONLY ONE, BUT NOW SEE "ONLY ONE WITH IT'S BOX", WHICH OBVIOUSLY IS KEY....GREAT PICKUP!!! DON'T LET YOUR KIDS PLAY WITH IT.

Great pickup, Ben! Cobb's La Azora card (sliding) is based on that photo: Link

Paul,
I won the the one on ebay. I was waiting to get to post it as a pick up, but, as you noted, it doesn't have the box. I'm very happy with the one I got, at least until a better condition example comes along that is reasonably priced.

Greg,
Yours looks like it's in spectacular condition. Congrats.
Please post a picture of the front of the box once you get it.

Best,
Mark

Ben,
Simply Stunning!!!!!!
Congrats. I don't buy a lot of pictures that don't include Gehrig, but that one would definitely be on the list of ones I would consider.
I think it would look incredible in Kreindlercolor.
Best,
Mark

Ben,
That's an amazing shot it is easily one of my favorites in your collection. Congratulations on adding to your museum. I need to obtain another Cobb as Isold my only Cobb image to his Grandson last week.

As always everyone's pickups are off the charts.... well I've been eyeing her from afar for quite awhile and I asked her to the dance several times in the past only to find out at the last minute that she was going with someone else....but this time I finally made it to the prom.

I think that is what they refer to as "feng shui"?
