Thoughts, looked authentic to me but have only seen this picture, not in person.

It does say he is a fine boy below on the page.
Hard to believe his autograph as a young teenager didn't change all that much. What's the earliest Ruth autograph anyone has seen?

Looks like it was signed yesterday. If its supposed to be from 1908??? Ruth started his playing days in 1914.

I think that date is 1938. It looks like a 3 that just has an awkwardly long upstroke at the end. According to an article I found Ruth was at Polo Grounds on that day introducing some attractions for the Worlds Fair. That style of signature would seem to fit that date. I like it.
