same thing happened to me. An item I consigned sold for a very high price. Heritage sent me an email that the buyer will not pay for it.
I'm thinking it happens more than 1 percent of the time. I asked if they were going to pressure the buyer to complete the deal but I was told that was not an option. I too was asked if I want to put the item in the next auction and I told them no. I figured they must have lawyers on retainer or who work for them and I am surprised they did not make more of an effort to complete this transaction. |
