Gary, that CDV is breathtaking......it really stood out as a museum style archival piece in the auction!
Thanks OldJudge, now I need to decide how much light of day it will get .I desperately want it on display with my other cards, but equally don't want to see that wonderful image fade in a matter of years. Can any collectors of Old Judges give me their experience of having these photo-style cards out for viewing in non-direct room lighting? Can anyone put a time line for degradation of the image or is the fadeout overstated? |
