Okay, $500 is up there.

Many of the 8x10 negatives with the faux signatures like that were made around the 1950s. Sold via magazine ads.

I do think it's interesting that the three images match up like that. That's unusual. As it is, it's an interesting matching trio, except, as Scott noted, the negative was misdescribed.

Picked up "A Fan's Collection of 1950s Signed (23) and Unsigned (24) Photos and Miscellaneous Items"; I just love those oddball and team issue PCs

"SIGNED: Includes mostly postcard and similar-sized photo premiums with Feller, Boudreau, Doby, Parnell (2), Kell, Lopez, Lepcio (2), R. Boone, Roberts, O'Neill, Avila, Holmes, J. Hegan, Gumpert, Yost, Turley and Doerr. There are also two GPCs (1951 Doerr, 1951 Ebba St. Clair) and the random inclusion of hockey HOFer Milt Schmidt. UNSIGNED: Includes snapshots, photos, team-issued photos and postcards from approximately 3" x 3" up to 8" x 10", with nice vintage postcards/premiums of Ted Williams, Jackie Robinson and Ed Mathews. There is also a pair of 1953 Red Sox ticket stubs. Auction LOA from JSA."

Obviously all three items' images can trace their lineage back to the same original Conlon negative (print-more image on right,negative-more image on left), but this negative was made from a print, and was then used to create the image on the publication (or doubtfully, vice-versa). So the print they auctioned off is actually a cousin of the other two. When I was researching the Johnson print I won last night, I also researched this one, and while I also think it's a Conlon, I couldn't find any reference tying them together.

Oddly, the print I won was NOT described as a Conlon, but definitely is. John Roger's website https://www.theconloncollection.com/ is a great place to look and see if your photo is a Conlon - of course, not finding it there doesn't rule things out.

Default 1912 photo of New York Giants

I am super-thrilled to have won this. All eight players are depicted on 'NY Natl' T206 cards (Devore, Doyle, Snodgrass, Murray, Merkle, Herzog, Meyers and Fletcher), so I will be creating a display. Might have to somehow incorporate Matty and McGraw as well:

I won two Old Judge lots (Lots 1016 and 1020). I only need a few of the cards so if anyone has specific interests please email me at oldjudge@gmail.com

Thanks--Jay
