Need help identifying brooklyn dodger bat bag

What could that be for?

Possibly Dazzy Vance? He wore 2 different uniform numbers for the Brooklyn Dodgers, #15 and #21 (which do not match any numbers on the bag) but if it were for him then this bag would then date to early to mid 1930s.

Dazzy is the only Dodger player with the initials DV. Could the 3 numbers be some sort of measurement for his uniform sizes etc...?

Who knows! That would be very cool though!
