It's very clear collectors are prioritizing eye appeal above numerical grade. As evidence from what I was watching: - I lost a Goodwins Champion Cap Anson SGC 1 (Poor) once it went above $3k. (beautiful front, though). - I also found it interesting that a CJ Cobb SGC 4 went for $18K, while an SGC 7 went for $22K.
