Were you trying to ask me - Do I even KNOW baseball? Because if you are, you need to go look in a mirror. You do know that up till 1930 the MLB rule was that if a ball was hit to the outfield and landed and then bounced over the fence it was counted as a home run, right? Though I will also point out that the AL changed the rule prior to the 1929 season, which I found out by checking your assertion.
