Advice for storage/display of paper documents, specifically game used lineup cards?

Jake,

Ball point pen should be fine, but try not have it exposed to direct sunlight.
If you want, you can also use UV protective glass.
Here is an example of the dugout lineup card from my first date with my wife.
I did use UV protective glass for this framed piece that I gave to my wife on our 20th anniversary almost 12 years ago.
