A break from my Hotel collection purchase.
I am ecstatic to have been able to pick this one up of Jackie Robinson. I'm pretty certain this is taken at Vero Beach spring training. Amazing image, so glad I could add one of 42 to my collection. Something else cool I noted is I believe Jackie is wearing a Wilson cap, which was only worn in 1951 and has a slightly boxier design and thicker lining. Reading about it, they weren't sure if players wore this design. Well here it is on Jackies head 😊.
