Here is a pair of c. 1930 Babe Ruth All-American Underwear related items. First off is a vintage original photo of the Bambino (looking quite fit), that originates from the Christy Walsh Family Archives. This famous image of Ruth was said to be his favorite and also graced the cover of his popular underwear box. Note: Babe liked this photo so much that he commissioned a large painting of it that proudly hung in his apartment. It can be seen in an image in the Barry Halper Catalogs.
Purchased as a companion piece for the original photo is this seldom seen 4x5 Babe Ruth Underwear glass advertising slide that was used in movie theaters to advertise the sponsor's goods.
