I'm still ticked at having learned after I submitted this WaJo for grading that SGC will no longer note Wool's Bread on its label.

Jim posted an example of a 1922-23 PB4 Kolb's Mother's Bread pin of Gilhooley earlier, but my existing scan of my 1920 Mrs. Sherlock's Bread pin featuring members of the minor league Toledo Mud Hens (mine is Joe Kelly, who had 3200 hits between majors and minors) also has the same Kolb's pin in it as well, so Mr. Gilhooley gets his bonus 15 minutes of fame. Which, if my math is correct, brings him up to a half hour of fame.

Brian (sorry about the back scans...my scanner isn't built for recessed items. At least it did a good job showing the pointy pins clearly, because on the front scan they are just blurs)

Great pinbacks! Do you have a smartphone? I gave up flatbed scanners years ago and take all my pics with my cell phone.

I do, but unfortunately my smartphone is smarter than its owner. Fortunately 99.99% of the stuff I want to make an image of is uber-flat, so the scanner works pretty decent for my needs.

And here is hand-scanned, hand-trimmed D311.

I find my iPhone to be super simple with pics and uploading them to forums such as this. Maybe give it another try?

Most members say the pics on their Iphones are way too large to upload. You don't have that issue?

And another card...with Aldon Candy overprint not even mentioned. Oh, the travesty of it all!

I’m probably one of those that’s guilty of uploading pics that are too large for the page.
