Jim posted an example of a 1922-23 PB4 Kolb's Mother's Bread pin of Gilhooley earlier, but my existing scan of my 1920 Mrs. Sherlock's Bread pin featuring members of the minor league Toledo Mud Hens (mine is Joe Kelly, who had 3200 hits between majors and minors) also has the same Kolb's pin in it as well, so Mr. Gilhooley gets his bonus 15 minutes of fame. Which, if my math is correct, brings him up to a half hour of fame.
Brian (sorry about the back scans...my scanner isn't built for recessed items. At least it did a good job showing the pointy pins clearly, because on the front scan they are just blurs) Last edited by brianp-beme; 04-14-2025 at 03:51 PM. |
