I use Flickr for all of my image hosting - I believe it will accommodate somewhere around 500ish images in the "Free" Version.

I don't think Flickr solves this or, maybe it can't be integrated with our old s/w.
The issue is uploaing large files, easily, and have them be small enough to actually upload, then enlarging them when clicked on. I spent several hours of an engineers time looking into it. Since this s/w is so old, and I have looked into it several times, I am a bit pessimistic. Still open to ideas though
