Default Toning on verso

Did anyone else notice that the Chance, Clark, Joss, Matthewson, McGraw, Plank, and Wagner all exhibit the exact same toning pattern on the reverse of the cards? Most of the verso's were not shown, but I wonder how many others cards in the Sullivan collection exhibit the same pattern?

My guess is that some of these E107s came out of an album that had corner holders similar to the ones many postcards have. In any event whoever this early collector was, he had a fabulous collection!

Default E107

For $750K, you might get the Wagner & Mathewson.

I'm thinking the price tag is closer to $1.8 to $2 million.

Great catalog, it will be in my reference library forever.

To recap, T206Collector doesn't understand why people think the E107 issue should be worth more then a T206 set and E107Collector thinks the catalog is fantastic. Surprising.

just opened mine, incredible catalog.

would be more "fun" if they broke the set and sold individually, like SCP did with the T206 Harris Collection. would get more people involved, create a bigger buzz, and possibly sell for more in the end, no?

Probably for less Michael. It takes an incredible amount of time and work to assemble such a big collection, so the "sweat equity" is almost certainly built into the price.

Sorry if I missed this, but are these going to be on display at the National? I would love to see these in person.

Chris, Legendary will have them on display at the National. I think it's probably the big attraction this year.

Great! Between the E107s and the Black Swamp Find this should be one of the most exciting National's ever for us cardboard lovers.

Isn't Heritage displaying the E98 find too?

Maybe Legendary Auctions will produce a reprint set of these with their company logo, contacts, auction schedule on the back, etc,...

I can't wait to see them in Baltimore.
