Longer than normal that's for sure. The weight is a plus I guess as the bat likely weighed in the lower 40 ounces when it was made.
Edited to add... I'm not sure you could write the bat off completely though. It would really depend on the comfort level of the owner. While the length isn't ideal it would certainly be a good placeholder in a collection until a 33" 45 oz bat was located.
