Ethical questions aside. Perhaps the biggest question is who would pay $100 for a nondescript foul ball at a game?
The thrill is in being the one catching the ball, monetarily speaking it can't be worth much more then the price of the ball. In essence, this guy paid for somebody else's thrill.
