I believe that Hod Eller is a pretty tough sig from the 1919 Reds.
Have you found him to be challenging as well, just out of curiousity?

I forgot Eller, he died in 1961 so he is by no means easy but not quite as tough as Sallee or Wingo. Thats a fine looking GPC by the way

Thanks Jim! I looked for quite awhile for a GPC or 3 x 5 for Eller, and I'm proud to own him.

I did own a pencil A/P with Eller and a couple of other players that returned for an Old Timer's game, but I upgraded to this a few years ago.

I've only personally seen three examples of his sig surface over the last 8-10 years, so he's got to be pretty challenging, FWIW. I think Kevin Keating currently has one, but the price is $$$.

I dont have an Allen anymore, but I had 2 at one time that came from when he was with the American Association in the late 1920's and I did have him on a team signed baseball once too. He is VERY rare as well.
