If you look at the feedback of that seller (christrose4me) they are buying tons of contemporary autograph cards.

I remember years ago exposing a small ring of Ebay sellers who were selling forgeries of Jeter, Ichiro, Pujols, etc., in the hundreds every week. But what was really interesting was going through the feedback of those sellers.
While they were listing and selling forgeries of Jeter, Pujols, Ichiro and others, they were purchasing Jeter, Ichiro, Pujols, etc., autographs from Steiner, UDA, TriStar, Mounted Memories, etc. In other words, they were financing their purchases of authentic autographs by selling forgeries. That practice continues today with many of today's sellers of forgeries. |
