Many moons ago(2001) I bought a mint condition T206 Lefty Leifield Pitching pose. I already had a vg one towards my set, and I am far from a condition sensitive person when coming to old cards, but this one was so nice I had to have it. I knew the seller personally, actually checked the card thoroughly for any alterations before he bought it ungraded, so I knew it was good. He paid a decent price for it and was going to sell it on ebay, but I couldn't let the card go to a stranger. So for the last 11 years, I've had a mint condition t206 Leifield, just hanging out with my other 99% vg/ex or lesser t206 set/extras

Another with 13 players who were with the Pittsburgh Pirates during the regular season, but never played a game. There's also one about 27 baseball families, as well as a day-by-day look at the worst team in Pittsburgh Pirates history. With the S74 Cobby snugly in my collection, I found this card (in link) on ebaY..
I always liked the pose but bought this for resale. Guess what?....again, going to my collection. Did I really need it? Nah, but what a cool card with his leather bag in hand!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/330784441575...84.m1439.l2648 .

We might all Benefit from a 12 step section.
I don't really post about it, but I'm constantly buying cards for "resale". It hardly ever happens. Last edited by Matthew H; 09-12-2012 at 10:29 AM. |
