Why not store them in high quality mylar 15-pocket sheets, arranged in hard bound albums.

I do the same and it's great to view them together. Actually, I keep all of them in the sheets to include higher end cards. A 1" d-ring binder hold a lot of cards and fits nicely in the safe.

I recently picked up some one-screw holders made specifically for t-cards. They cost me about 80¢ a piece, but they display nicely and provide the same protection as a graded case, the corners can't get dinged.

I made a mat in photoshop and had 500 produced and cut. The full set fits neatly in a couple small boxes.

Rob, I have a bunch of odd-size pages at home. If I have any 12-pocket ones I would be happy to send them to you (free of charge of course). It may take me a day or two to dig them out, but I will let you know.

T206s:
My raw T206s are in the tobacco size sleeves inside of the tobacco size toploaders. I store them along with my graded T206s in several boxes large enough for SGC slabs. All of my T206s are in alphabetical order with cards indicating "A", "B", "C", etc. Non T206s: HOFers are in alphabetical order in either graded slabs or the Ultra Pro sleeves. My stars/maybe one day HOFers are stored in the same manner, but different boxes. W512 set: All SGC graded, just stacked on the file cabinet until I can find or make a display case for them. Autographs: My small autographed card and ball collection are on display in my office.

I keep all of my raw cards inside penny card sleeves which are inside Ultra Pro toploaders. Always works well.....

I use the bigger (3 x 4 ) holders because I like how easy I can take the cards out. In the smaller tobacco size ones they are more difficult to stick your fingers in. If I were to keep them in binders, which I don't, I would use the smaller tobacco size ones.

Just pop the top corner against a hard surface - it's slanted, so no way to damage the card. The end of the sleeve comes right out and you can grab it (as opposed to sticking your fingers in).

I also keep my collection in the 15 pocket pages. As has been said, it's great for organizing the collection and it's a pleasure to be able to flip through it anytime.
To protect my cards from damage when inserting and removing, I put the card in a halved penny-sleeve, which fits inside the pocket well without squeezing the card, and insert it with a flexible plastic 6" ruler--See scan--I use a utility knife to cut the sleeves in half. Inserting the card driven by the ruler inside the sleeve takes a little practice, but it's pretty easy, and removing the card is as easy as pulling out the plastic sleeve. Graded cards I represent by either a photo-copy cut to size or a replica card. Doug |
