It is, but oh well, still a sweet card. I'm guessing the original owner sent it in to get it non-slab, and then someone else got it later to get it slabbed...

When I bought the Rousch at a show, it came with the sticker on the back. So I walked it over to the SGC table. Because the sticker had the cert number there was only the cost to encapsulate it (~$10) to get the JSA cert on the flip. A real no brainer. Whoever decided to go with the sticker on the back in the first instance, I have no idea. Certainly wasn't my idea.

I think grading is good for the hobby overall. When I see a sticker on a card or a photo I puke. Still a very neat card though....congrats on that!!

Thanks Leon! Love this pair. Can't argue with a Wheat or an early Rousch!

There is a strip card with this same image that is extremely hard to find. I saw one on eBay years ago in a lot that didn't have it labeled and I missed out on it. I haven't seen another since.

That's what I assumed, I knew you wouldn't dare to do that. Wonder if it could get lightly soaked and removed...but I don't wanna break it out, front is where it matters on this card.

I had a beater E91 McBride auto that had the sticker. I peeled it off. Left a little oval of empty space on the back, but was better than having that damn sticker on it.

Picked this up. Got it for such a cheap price, that I am tempted to flip it, even though I need it for my complete Sport Kings set...

Agreed!

Great card, lousy sticker. What would be so tough about taking a picture of the card and putting it on an accompanying COA letter?
