Hi All:
It IS possible to have a 62 Salada in a "wrong" color shell that was not switched out. See the Cunningham White Sox below in an unopened original wrapper. His shell should be black, but as you can see he is clearly in a red shell! So they did issue some in "wrong" shells. For fun I have also added a scan of a P.O.P diecut display that shows a Colavito in a black shell (correct in blue) and a Geiger in a red shell (correct in blue). Not saying they were issued like this, just that they were shown on the display in wrong colors! Finally two uncut strips of coins still in cello packaging.
