| Thanks

Thanks for the responses and the scans, guys. I appreciate it. Rhett, I have all of the OCB's. I will take a look at it tonight. The thought of this being spread over 2 years is interesting. PSA's pop report looks pretty clean, but SGC's is interesting. Their pop report shows several players who are not on the Standard Catalog checklist. Herzog, Gleason, Leibold, Lewis, Rixey, Daubert, and Bagby. SGC also carries the E121 designation in front of many of these players. SGC's pop reports has two separate listings for Mamaux, Bancroft, and Pfeffer, which makes me wonder if this is a mistake or are these separate issues. It looks like the following players have never been graded by either company: Bodie, Geo Burns, Carey, Dauss, Evers, Doak, Gardner, Johnson, Killefer, Kilduff, McGraw, Morgan, Myers, Peckinpaugh, Robertson, Schang, Sallee, Stock, and one of the Strunk cards. Thanks, Rick

Rick, are you going to be listing some Holsum's? If so let me know as I have been actively collecting them for quite some time and would love to pick up more but at the very least I could help you out. Scott, funny thing is that although some Holsum's were 1920 issues yours is from the "Type 2" set made and distributed in 1921 so they are not correct. In short, the way to tell a 1920 from a 1921 upon quick glance is the "H. Weil Baking Company" line on back, if they look like the ones in Brian's post they are from the earlier issue (1920 seems to be the concensus based on the player selection), whereas if they have the "indented" line like on the Sisler shown above they are from the later "Type 2" issue which was made in 1921 (we know this based on player selection as there are players in the Type 2 set that were first with their respective teams in 1921). -Rhett

Also, in regard to the ACC designation the "H. Weil" sets are as follows... D327 are like the E121 cards or we know them they are the HOLSUM BREAD CARDS from 1920-21. D328 are like the E135 Collins-McCarthy or the H801-8 Boston Store cards from 1917. D329 are like the M101-4/5 cards from 1916.

| Holsum

Scott, yours is the only one listed by SGC as a 1920. Rhett, I don't have any Holsum's at the moment. I guess I am too cheap because I always get outbid when one comes up for auction. I have been able to pick up a few Weil's, but no Holsum's. Rick
