Rule of thumb:
I wouldn't recommend spending too much on OJ's with Royer stamps on the back($66 is way too much). Never saw one in person but they all look the same, off-color, smaller, faded pics http://www.ebay.com/itm/1887-N172-OL...item3a7a3b5a24 http://www.net54baseball.com/showthr...ighlight=royer

Please check out my books on baseball history. They include the bio of star second baseman Dots Miller. A book featuring 20 Moonlight Graham players who got into just one game. Another with 13 players who were with the Pittsburgh Pirates during the regular season, but never played a game. There's also one about 27 baseball families, as well as a day-by-day look at the worst team in Pittsburgh Pirates history. All five can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/stores/John-D...hor/B0DH87Q2DS |

Matt,
You're right, they are smaller. I told a seller that I'd buy one if I could return it if I thought it was fake. It was smaller and I did return the card. I've seen a load of the Royer's come out recently. I'm pretty sure they are not "period" cards.
