Default 1967 All-Star Pennant

Finished one part of Angels pennant collection by picking up this 1967 All-Star pennant. I really wish they would have moved the Big A back into left field when the stadium was renovated.

Great Pennant (and a real toughie!)

I felt that way too.... was really hoping they would move the "A" back where it belongs. The renovation was pretty neat, but that classic Big A in Left Field was magical. I can still recall Lee Stanton hitting one of the legs of the "A" on 2 bounces. A mammoth blast!

1938 Cincinnati Post special All Star Edition featuring NL starting pitcher Johnny "Double No-Hit" Vander Meer.

This might look pretty cool framed up with my ticket stub from the game...
Whattya think?

Default Nationals

This is a three piece shaving kit that dates back to the turn of the century I believe.

That's not turn-of-the-century, Bob. More like 1950s.

Very cool piece and an excellent companion to the ticket. Is there a stub you don't have!?

Thanks Mike! There might be a couple...
I guess that's a bi-product of collecting the baseball ticket theme continuously for 40 years!

Scott may have all the stubs, but he is still missing the Mariners' organic compositing bucket that was given out on the day of Humber's perfect game. I am holding out for big bucks for that one

I liked this one. Bob Feller made his debut with the Indians in July of 1936 at the age of 17. Then he went back to finish High School in Van Meter, Iowa. This was taken in December 1936 in school. He had already struck out 17 batters in one game at the age of 17! And went 5-3 with a 3.34 ERA.
