As a big Mets fan I always wondered why Rusty Staub was not in the 1972 and 73 sets.

That's Rusty running in from right field so he did kind of make a card

You can also poke around my Photobucket for many baseball and football cards "that never were." There is a link below. I'm not all that facile with the new Photobucket layout, but I have images in one "album" of 1955 All-Americans, and separate albums for baseball and "misc. football."

I'm now at my Pennsylvania headquarters for the winter and hope to get active on making more customs in the next few months.

Bob...great blog, I just spent the better part of two hours looking through it while smelling the turkey cook, thanks! Loved the article and custom card of Allen Lewis...great story. Being a fool die hard Mariners fan remember Charles Gipson...also loved the pictures of the old players and their wives, girlfriends, etc...
