I currently own 14 1914s including all the players not found in the 1915 set and a bresnahan no number. I have fantasized about a 1914 set, but that Pratt and Matty would stand in the way, I don't have 100k+ to go after that set. Maybe some day Ill sell my 1915s and put them toward a 1914 set but I doubt it. Honestly, after I get these last 8 cards I will NEVER do anything set-wise like this again...NEVER. Too much $, too many cards, commons are too expensive and its felt like an anchor sometimes on my collecting psyche. Usually its great though, and a fantastic set with tons of HOFers and many classic cards that Ive been able to get in decent shape that Ill hopefully have for a long time...but never again. To answer the question, Im trying to pay off some of the Jackson card with this money. Last edited by rainier2004; 12-29-2012 at 10:52 AM. |
