Yes, they are real. They would grade authentic. I know Steve F. and McQueen both have cards that were handcut off the same sheet. The backs have handwriting on them. The Young was soaked to remove some gunk off of it, and the McGraw is trimmed. Perhaps Brian can post a couple of his on here. I also used my iPad to take the pic, and it's rather grainy.

My first '14 CJ. Buy the card, not the holder. The line behind his head is a lot less prominent in hand.
